Safety measures for vaccinated people
Millions of people around the world have now been safely vaccinated against COVID-19, bringing us all one step closer to getting back to normal life. Citizens are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Sinopharm or Covi-shield, or 2 weeks after the single-dose Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine. Currently, there are limited data available on vaccine protection in people who are immunocompromised.
Guiding principles for fully vaccinated people
- Resume indoor and outdoor activities following safety measures
- Fully vaccinated people can reduce the risk of transmitting SARS-CoV-2 to unvaccinated people.
- Fully vaccinated people should still get tested if experiencing Covid-19 symptoms.
- Fully vaccinated people should not visit private or public settings if they have tested positive for Covid-19 at least 10 days prior or experiencing Covid-19 symptoms.
- Fully vaccinated people should continue to follow any applicable Federal, State, Local, Tribal or Territorial laws, rules, and regulations.
