The UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NECMA) updated the national travel protocol, easing travel for vaccinated people. All travelers including those fully vaccinated are required to wear a mask at all places, buses, trains, and other forms of public transport. It has also been suggested to get tested if any symptoms appear, to quarantine, and stay in isolation if tested positive. Fully vaccinated people with Covid-19 symptoms , although is at a lower risk, should isolate themselves from others. They should be clinically evaluated for Covid-19 and tested for SARS–CoV-2. They should keep an eye for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days following exposure. Exceptions, where testing (but not quarantine) is still recommended following exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19, include:  Fully vaccinated residents and employees of correctional and detention facilities and homeless shelters.
